The MBT-Child training will provide an overview of mentalization development in middle childhood (ages 5-12), an introduction to a time-limited model of MBT-C, and several opportunities to develop practical skills needed in order to work with children from a mentalizing perspective.
The MBT-C course is best suited for counselors, therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists who work with children and families. This course will assume a working knowledge of mentalization as a concept.
Those who have completed the MBT-C training will have the opportunity to join an individual or group supervision, which will support you to implement the MBT-C approach to your own clinical practice. This is an essential element for those who wish to be registered as an MBT-C Practitioner.
